As part of Hyundai's sponsorship of the FIFA World Cup™ 2010, their latest marketing campaign was to film a collection of, you could say unique matches - to be shown as idents between live coverage on ITV. Hyundai i30s form 5-a-side teams and battle it out to be crowned Hyundai World Champions 2010 right within the heart of Weald Aviation's operations!

With the plan to have teams of Hyundai cars representing that of the very nations featuring within the World Cup, the requirement for the shooting was specific; Great drivers, great vinyl for the cars, and above all, a great location to set the scene!! Weald Aviation once again delivered in terms of space and hangarage and was the ideal location to shoot something of this magnitude. With a scaled football pitch to cater for, plus 5 cars per team, the area provided by Weald Aviation's vast apron space was more than up to the task. With 50,000 sq ft of Apron Hard Standing & 4,000 sq ft of grass parking adjacent to both our main hangar's, they again proved to be the ideal business to cater for all types of events, filming and storage.
